If Prime Were To Leave

It's Rick Georges fault - very condensed version.

RG pulled off the coup of the decade getting CP. Tremendous boost to the CU program, unbelievable media and public attention. We all love him. RG hit a home run

What RG didn't do was vet any of CP"s hires, make sure he was hiring competent coaches. He was caught up in the excitement and gave CP whatever he wanted.

CP has never been a real good Xs and Os coach. He needed strong fundamental support. Instead he got mostly cheerleaders

After CP took the ball in OT one game, everybody shook their heads and figured he would learn. Wrong, no one educated him and he did the same next OT game. Imo, assistants were afraid to go to CP and tell him he was wrong and why. Same with the failure to call TOs. No assistant would risk showing up the boss.

He wouldn't want to, but to help his reputation, someone needs to push the narrative that CP was out of town and suffering health wise for almost 4 months, didn't get to work with the team. Then he has to fire some people.

The reason Prime is at CU is because RG gave him the autonomy to do what he wanted. RG was never going to have authority over who he could hire (within reason of course), nor should he.
