...what does this do to CU's Texas recruiting? Also what happens in-state with all of the top talent heading to the Pac? Will they stay home now? Thoughts?
Disagree - the new Pac 10 deal can't possibly be worse than the current Big 12 deal, no matter who goes with us. Think Indiana/Northwestern/Purdue getting $22M from Big 10...I think many are missing a very important consideration. If Texas does not head West - CU's $20 million annual payout also goes out the window with it. In fact, my guess is CU athletics would lose money in that scenerio. The Pac-10 was not nearly the revenue generating conference that the Big12 was. I can't imagine a scenerio in which CU would increase its athletic funds by being added to a 12 team PAC with only Utah.

With Texas 20-22 million without 14 million is what I saw somewhere yesterday.I think many are missing a very important consideration.
