Sooner or later it is going to happen.... I could think of no better team to have this happen to them than Kansas....

Boston U plays a 3 point game.... if they hit their threes.... could be.... :nod:

It would be beyond hilarious if KU went down to a 16 seed. They struggled quite a bit as #1 seed about 8 or 10 years ago against Holy Cross. IIRC HC still had the lead in that game with around 6 minutes left.
 
It seems like KU has missed more open jump shots today than they did in our 3 games with them combined.
 
yahoo sports is making a big deal that George mason beat Nova. half the teams west of the Mississippi beat Villanova in February.
 
I have KU losing to Illinois. Kansas is a solid overall team, but I still think they're overrated. They deserve the number one seed, but they aren't really a number one team. I hate KU too though, so I'm really biased. Even with decent outside shooting and guard play, KU's separating strength is their inside play. Illinois will bitch slap the Morris twins in my opinion...or at least I really hope so.
 
Rooting for Kansas b-ball is the same as rooting for Texas football, you just don't do it!

I hope you're right because if they win tomorrow then their next game will be against Richmond or Morehead State, so chances are a win tomorrow and they're practically in the Elite 8.
 
Definitely a bizarre ending but both calls were clearly fouls. I don't know what the hell Brown was thinking when he fouled Howard after the missed FT. And then after Howard missed the 2nd free throw at the end, that long heave by Pitt almost went in. Wouldn't have counted though because he didn't get the shot off before the buzzer.

Yep, have to call both fouls. The second foul was just awful-you cannot do that in that situation.
 
Ouch. I had Pitt winning, mostly because I hate all the other contenders. So much for filling out your bracket based on which team you hate the least.

Its all about picking teams you don't like to do well. so its a win win situation, if they win its good for you and if they lose you are happy.
