Is a #1 seed going down?

And the trend continues. Every year, we hear about how "This is going to be the year for Pitt" and every year they choke. Other than an Elite 8 appearance two years ago, they haven't made it past the Sweet Sixteen since 1974. Every time I see someone pick Pitt to go to the Final Four, all I can do is shake my head and chuckle.

In Pitt's defense.... they play ugly basketball. They play a very strong, tough, physical inside game. Butler's Howard just made Pitt take several charging fouls and was not afraid to stick his head in there against 3 big Pitt players. Howard killed Pitt inside and very few people are willing to do that in a basketball game. I know... Mack hit everything under the sun... Butler does not win that game if Howard doesn't do what he did inside the lane....
