Would like to know his buyout for both being hired away and being fired.
I’m hopeful that both of his buyouts are high for the first three years and then drop substantially after.
It was important that our next coach have CU ties
Colorado hires Karl Dorrell: Dig deep enough, and you can spot reasons it makes sense (but you have to really dig)
Worse than ASU?Obviously, not unexpected, but CU is getting murdered by everyone for this hire.
I get if you think there is too much bitching, but this post strikes me as you would have been excited by anyone we hired.
They aren’t going to fire him after 1 or 2 seasons, not should they. He will get 3 full seasons. After that, anything is on the table and let’s hope they structured the contract buyouts better than MM’sI hope they are low as hell from the get go, especially the one to fire him

Well, we got murdered for the Embree hire too, and look at how that turned out.Obviously, not unexpected, but CU is getting murdered by everyone for this hire.
Yeah WTF?? If it’s true that he tried to hire Sark, and at least interviewed Calhoun and Bielema then that comment comes across as complete bulls**t.
Worse than ASU?
Tomorrow at the presserNo word about recruiting. Yikes
Answer the question, tho’. ASU was a laughing stock after that hire.Dorrell isn’t Edwards. All the same questions but Edwards is fiery and he is well known by ALL recruits for being a TV personality as well. That’s paid off for them big time.
When was the last time we outsmarted everyone?Worse than ASU?

He would be extended. If he performs exactly like he did at UCLA, seems like he will be fired five years from now.
So KD is the highest paid coach in CU history? I don't even know what to say.
Thanks I feel much better now.Mike McIntyre was the previous highest paid coach. Coaching salaries are increasing every year.
Alabama’s OC reportedly is making more than our HC though (because CU interviewed him for the job), so maybe you can take some solace in that.
Thin ice ahead. From here on out , this is all on Rick George. His legacy in CU will be defined by this hire.
It's called inflation. So KD is the highest paid coach in CU history? I don't even know what to say.
So what did you call it when Melvin Huckster was paid less that MikMac?It's called inflation.
