McChesney is advocating to Chev and saying if he doesn’t get it he should be pissed off and leave. It’s scary how many people are so behind him as the HC. And just handing him the job at that.
 
So, for most of you more informed followers on here: what's with the ****ing radio silence?

It feels like RG and the Buffs are being super quiet on this coaching search.

Radio silence is preferred for searches like this so you don’t put your targets into an awkward situation, and more importantly, you don’t end up wildly overpaying for your 3rd or 4th choice who may only have one year and an under .500 record just to try to save face and salvage what you can of the fanbase for season ticket sales.

That's a really good point, MT wouldn't have had nearly the leverage he did if it hadn't leaked that he'd interview in the first place.

Why?

He’s not the only one lobbying for the job, he’s just being public about it. Also, liking a post on Twitter just means you’re amused by or like the post, it’s not like he started the petition himself.

I think some of you need to calm down. He’s one of the best recruiters in the country and recruited most of the people people are excited about, and some of you want to run him out because being the head coach at CU is his dream job and he’s publicly advocating for it?

The last coach left after one year to go to a school that covered up sexual abuse.

I don’t know if Chev can put together a good staff or manage the team on game days (and I have no idea who should be the next coach) but he’s got the recruiting part down and it’s a dream job for him.

People ought to have more appreciation for that given the fact that a lot of people today clearly view CU as just a paycheck or a stepping stone to a bigger paycheck.

Last year I didnt care for the ****er we hired-now (in as bad a situation as we are) I think we've got a great bunch of candidates. Chev would fire me up as a buff. The kids love him, he's one of the best recruiters in the country, and he could easily be the football version of Tad if we surrounded him with solid assistants.
