Jeez, with all the depth we've ended up with at receiver I'm glad we ran him out of town.

We didn't run him out of town. He apparently fathered a child back home in Louisiana and left to be a man and take care of the kid. I have nothing but respect for that decision.
Well, while it may be honorable, it doesn't seem to me that giving up a free education at a top notch university, in the long run, would be the best choice for him and his family. Wouldn't it have been better, say, for mom and child to move to Colorado? I know it isn't that simple though.
Maybe, but you can't fault the kid for manning up and doing what he thinks is best. It's not necessarily the decision I would have wanted him to make if he were my kid, but I cannot fault it. I'm sure there were other family considerations as well (he's from Louisiana - he has a support structure there).
He was on the team the first 3 games and barely got on the field... Ran out of town.
So sitting the kid on the bench because he missed spring ball, to make a statement about something that happened months ago, is apparently more important than winning football games. He missed spring practice, therefore did his time, and was clearly eligible the first 3 games, and then decided to quit? Had nothing to do with his p.t. ooook.![]()
If people are gunna start neg repping me, I'll just delete my posts.
Sophomore wide receiver Kendrick Celestine acknowledged earlier this summer that he needed to do well in two summer courses to remain academically eligible this fall. Celestine earned a B in his first summer course and is finishing up the second class this week.
Wow, this really struck a nerve with some of you. At least write your name when you neg rep me. wow.
Anyways, since I've started some kind of war I will just say, that the kid worked his butt of in the summer to gain eligibility which he did, and because of the lack of receivers I find it hard to believe that Celestine rarely got on the field for anything else but to make statement. He was with them all summer and 4 weeks into the fall, and then decided to leave.

I started the thread to see if anyone knew where he was or what he was doing. Sorry that amongst 30 anti-coaches threads that this one was too much and it was perceived as one.
And as a side note, I guess we can all agree that when Simas becomes eligible we won't see him on the field either, right?

I'll never forgive Celestine for dropping that sure TD bomb at Arizona State last year. He never proved that he was going to be a consistent performer OR a threat of any kind.
But he'll probably end up at LSU or the like.
Gosh darnit, you need to let go of the bitterness! Imagine opening your fist and letting the bitterness fly away like a butterfly flittering away into a periwinkle sky.
It must look like the freaking butterfly pavillion around your house... :smile2:

I have a solid guess who it was, I just know for sure it wasn't DBT or junc otherwise i'd be neg-repped back to the stone age.
How does one determine how much damage one can do?
They higher you are on the rep list the more damage you can do, Junc can rep you back about 10 pages if he's in a bad mood, I wouldn't want to think about RssBot.
