This is about what could be the biggest "Prime Effect" on the game.
Not only that, but the Karl Dorrell hire (as much as it was objectively a poor hiring decision) broke the normal rule of black coaches only getting 1 chance. Its a shame that this has to be said.
One of the reasons Coach Prime considered us is because we fired a black coach and hired one immediately thereafter. No one has ever done that. That specific action was the proverbial "foot in the door" that led to this particular hire.
Just like I said.... It is all about Karl Dorrell.
Totally forgot about that. Not only that, but the Karl Dorrell hire (as much as it was objectively a poor hiring decision) broke the normal rule of black coaches only getting 1 chance.
I mean, multiple HOFers at practice, current Super Bowl and MVP winning QBs showing us love, bat **** crazy WRs tweeting about us. This is revolutionizing college athletics. We should be getting our pick of recruits.
And you think baseball is an improvement? BASEBALL?!?Perfect. Soccer sucks.

As long as he's not married to a white woman. The boosters who run things can only be pushed so far.The SEC will come around to this…when Shedeur’s youngest grandchild is coaching college football.
Yes I do.And you think baseball is an improvement? BASEBALL?!?

If this team wins 6+ games, the staff will get to be Harvard-like in its selectivity.Anyone worried about only having 8 recruiting commits right now?
Yeah. Didn't think so.
I love soccer, and pretty much grew up with baseball as my no. 1 sport, and loathed it after my playing days were done. That said, if Buffs baseball is resurrected and the make it to the CWS. I’ll be going to my first CWS games since 1998, to a stadium that I swore I’d never step foot in.And you think baseball is an improvement? BASEBALL?!?
Imagine what gems are considering hopping in the portal now…If the pros can't keep from watching imagine what it is like with the HS recruits

I think Prime has held back all committable offers until the bar is placed really high and the right 4-5* big fellas are ready to join usAnyone worried about only having 8 recruiting commits right now?
Yeah. Didn't think so.
We're going to sell out the whole season without any discounts or giveaways, aren't we?
I don't think people really believed. In their hearts, thought CU would be 1-3 heading into that game and get rolled.Surprised U$C game isn’t sold out.
Surprised U$C game isn’t sold out.
Charlie Offerdahl is going to GO OFF against CSU!CSU too. But I expect those 2 to be sellouts

We’ll have to wait and see.CU Buffs notes: Coach Prime dreams of bringing baseball back to Boulder
Head coach Deion Sanders came to Colorado with lofty goals for the football program, but much like in his athletic career, he’s thinking beyond the gridiron.www.buffzone.com

Where’s the CU bar in Austin? I was out of town yesterday, but you might be adding one to that crew for future games. We went to the Austin watch party and half of the group said they were Prime Fans, one of which said he played against Prime’s teams when he was at Prarie View A&M. They were every bit invested as others.
Also, after the game we went to Oscar blues because it is near the CU bar in Austin. Walking in the door multiple people started making comments from across the bar about how we were celebrating our win
84-89 is right there with you, brother! What we are seeing is the playing out of what we have always said about football and the value to the university. Yes Coach Prime helps but the value of this program to CU right now, and always should have been, is almost not measurable on the high side.
2 national televised games in a row in one of the most watched time slots in college football. One of those at home where we will showcase the beauty of the area and campus.
Every talking head in the country mentioning CU. Any in nothing but glowing terms. Talk about recruiting a recruiting tool for the general student population. Wait until we see application numbers.
Not to mention the affinity advertisers and companies show with investments and dollars coming into CU. The revenue boon for local businesses and hospitality venues (hotels and restaurants).
Merch and licensing and now NIL for the athletes.
This took Todd Saliman to understand but this has always been available to CU. I am so glad to get to see the second shining period in CU (was there from 85-90 as a student). It has always been there waiting, sleeping, waiting. The giant is now away and this thing is going to roll and grow like the runaway snowball heading downhill.
Go Buffs!
