Latest CFP Rankings

1. Bama
2. Miami
3. Clemson
4. Oklahoma
5. Wisconsin
6. Auburn

At this point, I personally think it’s a joke that undefeated Wisconsin is still on the outside looking in, but Wisconsin beating Ohio State in the Big 10 CG should mean they’re a lock. Although, the idiots on ESPN right now saying it’s possible that Bama winning out, OU winning out, and Clemson beating Miami in a close game could keep the top 4 the same... If an undefeated P5 conference champion got left out of the CFP, and three 1 loss teams made it, the committee would lose all credibility.
Committee charter is to chose best four, not mst deserving. I don’t care if they are undefeated or a Conf champ or not, just get the best four.

Let me simplify this-if Wisconsin wins the Big 10 at 13-0, they're in...at the expense of the ACC title game loser. That's going to piss me off......because Auburn, Notre Dame, and Virginia Tech are all better wins in my opinion than anything Wisconsin has. That schedule is worse than what Washington played last year.

Let's just say that if Wisconsin played any of the current top 4 teams in the CFP, they would lose. That's why they aren't in the top 4

Wisconsin's defense is legit and they have a future All-American at running back. They haven't played a great schedule, but they've won all the games they've played.

Definitively saying they're worse than anyone right now is just plain dumb.

Thanks ESPN! Seriously, none of us know how good Wisconsin is. The talking heads at ESPN and elsewhere say the same thing all of the time and get proven dead wrong all of the time. If Wisconsin wins out they deserve to be in the CFP.

Lots of people *think* that. Nobody *knows* that.

Wisconsin could be really good, we just don't have any idea for sure at this point because they haven't really played anyone who is really good.

It's hard to go undefeated through 11 games in college football, regardless of how "easy" your schedule is. So we know they're pretty good.

At the end of the day, they're right where any undefeated P5 team should be at this point of the season: in the playoff if they win out.

OU has three wins over CFP top 20 teams and is sitting at 4. Wisconsin has none. If undefeated matters, why isn't UCF higher than 15? Blatant homerism...

Miami-Clemson loser is out if everyone else wins out. The Wisky worthiness discussion is a moot point.

I heard somewhere (I believe it was on Mark Packer's show) that nobody has been better than Wisconsin at making halftime adjustments because they have one of the best if not the best 2nd half scoring differentials in the country.

For those of you rooting for chaos in regards to the CFP, here is the list of who I will be rooting for this weekend:
  • #11 and 2 loss USC over Stanford (If you are considering other 2 loss championship teams, why not us?)
  • #15 and no loss UCF over Memphis (maybe we can get more congressional pressure over the exclusion of G5 teams from having a chance against the big boys?)
  • #12 and 2 loss TCU over #4 and 1 loss OU (create as few 1 loss teams as posssible)
  • #6 and 2 loss Auburn over #7 and 1 loss Georgia (puts the SEC in the position where their only 1 loss team isn’t a champion, might lead to 2 bids for the SEC -> pissing off every other conference with 2 loss champions in play)
  • #2 (but will drop) and 1 loss Miami over #3 and 1 loss Clemson - would be the first time a team lost after the release of the CFP polls and still gets in (Miami - and it would be a loss to a team not even going bowling. Although my scenario here virtually assures Alabama getting in as a non-champion recently lost team as well - great! More chaos.)
  • #9 and 2 loss Ohio St over undefeated and will be top 4 in the next poll Wisconsin (creates 2 questions - is Wiscy’s 1 loss no championship resume any worse than Alabama’s 1 loss no championship resume? Is OSU’s resume 2 loss championship resume any worse than USC’s or Aurburn’s?)
I would like nothing more than creating this much uncertainty, leading to most conferences being pissed off at the outcome as multiple “equally deserving teams” would be left out.

**** that.

I hate the idea of non-conference champions getting in. What's the point of conferences if winning it doesn't matter?

Alabama must be kept out at all costs.

If that means rooting for the Land Thieves, so be it.

For a solid 10 minutes, I thought I was eating crazy pills!
