I support systemic racism
This is the first thing we need to have a chance to get in without pure chaos. If WSU wins our only shot is lots of help in the Big 10 and Clemson losing

I can hear the pundits now if WSU wins, CU beating a 3 loss team in the CCG , blah, blah, blah....

A rematch with WSU would not be good for a few different reasons, but mostly because beating them in the CCG would look wholly less impressive than doing that to UW.

The only people who want WSU would be Coug fans and those CU fans who would rather go to the Rose Bowl than the Playoff.

If we want to maximize our chance of making the playoff it's the Huskies.
If we want to maximize our chance of making the Rose Bowl it's the Cougs.
If we want to play the best team and challenge ourselves it's the Huskies.

None of this nonsense about it being hard to beat a team twice. A look at rematches any time in the year shows that's utter nonsense in football, or any sport for that matter.

What rematches have occurred in college football this year?

Meaning they won't pick us regardless of who we beat in the pac12 ccg. They prefer to pick two SEC or Big 10 teams. It's bull****, I know, but that's the bias

The SEC has almost no shot of getting 2 teams in but yea the Big 10 has a good shot at getting 2 in

Only path would be a 9-2 Florida (need to beat FSU this week) beating a 12-0 Alabama. Could happen, but I wouldn't put money on that without some seriously long odds.

That's exactly what I wish for, though. I want to have a chance to take our shot at the best in the country and see if these Buffs can be the 1980 Miracle on Ice story in the all-time history of college football. Let it ride!
Fair enough.

Not sure if I want this game to go into OT or for Washington to stomp WSU.

I'm leaning OT. GO WSU! (A little)
