Lonzo Ball's dad.

It's fine if LaVar wants to gamble with his own dignity on his brand.

It's poor taste to vault his brand on son's professional success.

It's gross behavior to throw a tantrum at his sons' high school and youth basketball games.

But most of all it's irresponsible and predatory to place his high school son's collegiate elegibility in jeopardy to sell shoes.
Good. Let his kid play in Europe. Oh, and screw ucla.

that's like me buying a hamburger for the guy who cuts my lawn, only i probably wouldn't have the camera crew or get the publicity.

(maybe a nice act, maybe trying to look better)

Well Lonzo, isn't college or summer league huh. Tore it up with 3 points. Oh btw, Beverly, really good defender, told him after the game he's got a target on his back because of daddy. Lol why am I not shocked?

These are the situations where you see how parents create entitled kids. Who is Patrick Beverly? He is an NBA player who has done more in this league than your son, just because your son has his own shoe doesn't mean he can do **** on the basketball court.

I wonder if at some point one of or all the Ball kids will tell their old man to take a hike?

I'm sure this is going to turn out really well for everyone involved.

When does Lonzo finally grow up and tell dad to go pound sand.

Lavar isn't dealing with a bunch of AAU officials or HS administrators or even UCLA athletic administrators, this is the NBA. Unless he wants to take all three to Europe he gets to play by their rules.

Lonzo looks like a future star, not superstar but star player, his brothers not so much.

For Lavar to do all the Branding and image work he wants to do they have to be in one of the few major markets that is also a media center. In other words LA or NY, maybe Chicago or Houston. I don't see even the Knicks being stupid enough to go along and let Lavar call the shots.

Sorry but I don't see this guy as anything but a prick. It sure as hell doesn't have to do with color.

I think Lonzo is a good NBA player and has a chance at a very good future. He's gotta be his own man at some point though, imho.
