This was a bad loss. Up by 9 at home when you’re a 10 point favorite against a team on the road after playing Utah... lose by 7. Guh

A game we had no business losing.
This is not in any way a fire Tad post but some day, in my fantasy world, he is going to learn that his players aren't going to stop these dead spells and slumps on their own. A coach has to call a time out and coach his team, not stand there waving his arms and hoping things will change.

As awful as our offense was over that final stretch we lost this on the defensive end. Can’t give up 30 points in a 10 minute stretch! Absolutely garbage. Not getting rebounds on missed FTs was a really bad tone setter

Tad needed to get more creative on offense in the middle of the second half, and maybe threw a press and zone in to try and wear out UCLA at the same time! We had the game in our hands at the 8:00 mark.

He used all of his time outs. He called 2 during the 0-10 shooting streak, plus 2 media time outs. This is a bad take.

Terrible officiating but the refs had nothing to do with losing this game. You can't just go out and not play basketball for 8-10 minutes at a time and think you will win basketball games.
He went about the first 7 minutes of the streak before he called his first one.
You don't go from 9 points up at home to down before you start responding.
No he didn’t. We took a time out with 8:39 on the clock. Then there was a media timeout with 7:39. Next time out we took was just under 3 minutes. It’s in the box score.
There’s a tiebreaker. The book will go with the official results from the league.

This was NOT on the ****ing refs. We got absolutely bent over time and time again down low. Abused. We had ZERO answer to that down the stretch. They scored at will in the low post. THAT was the difference.

It's weird that this team is inconsistent like that when it's almost completely comprised of juniors and seniors. I just don't understand it.
