Lookin ahead to 2021-22

I have no issue with UCLA as the favorite. They earned it and have a great team coming back. I think you put UCLA and Oregon at the top, but everybody from 3-8 is pretty much up in the air. CU could land anywhere in that range, although I’d imagine they’d probably wind up around 4 or 5. They always manage to lose a game or two they have no business losing. Once Tad can get over that little issue, then we will be a true contender, IMO.

It's college basketball, almost every team loses one or two they shouldn't.

Let's see, UCLA was a Final Four participant last year after losing to WSU. Houston, another Final Four participant lost to Tulsa and East Carolina.
no problem ok GIF

If I had to guess, scouts told Abmas "get your education, kid" and told O'Banor, "we want to see you put those numbers up against better competition".
O'Banor is a great college scorer. He's below average athleticism for the NBA, will be a defensive liability, and is on the edge of 2nd round draftable. Dude can shoot, though.

Really fun article! Some cool pieces about Big Bill (the pizza guy) giving him a lead to recruit Sean Ogirri. Also bringing up the extra year of eligibility for seniors. He said when he recruited Quincy, Lawson, etc he said the other guys were leaving and he wanted to honor that! I respect Tad so much!

Nice find

Going to be interesting to see how much realignment affects basketball this upcoming season.

there will be conspiracy theorists suggesting that XII refs are favoring calls against UT and OU.

Husker fans are still fuming about the 2010 Big 12 CCG and CU fans were livid about being left out of the 2011 MBB tournament. Those Big 12 refs will do something for sure.

I guess it would be great if he is leaving due to us having too much talent, but if that isn’t the case this year might have a few more growing pains than anticipated
