Lots of big bodies at the basketball game today

2014 prospects. I was sitting one section over from them. Coach Mac was there. I don't follow recruiting much, so I don't know who any of them were. There were three white guys from the same school, with an SC logo on their jackets. Silver Creek? Do they have three prospects? There were also two black guys from the same school - I couldn't make out what their jackets said, but they were unfamiliar to me. There was also one guy from Cherry Creek, I'm pretty sure. His jacket had a "C" logo and said Bruins. Most of the guys were in street clothes.

ETA: There was also a Valor Christian guy there. Don't think it was McCaffrey.

One is the SC coaches kid (Apodaca). One is a kicker, Ryan Charles, that Adam has profiled. and one is a kid I have coached and am very high on, Isaac Miller.

Miller got offered. Kid is a monster but had knee growth plate issues that kept him off the field earlier in HS. Great athlete.
Miller got an offer and will blow up when people see him. His Dad played OL in college. More later.

I don't see a profile here or on Rivals for Isaac Miller. Kid is 6'8" or so and a big boy. We are talking very good athlete but has had to lay low during huge growth spurts in 8-10th grade. Great family. Great kid who is very smart and very coachable. Although I never coach the big guys (& thus never coached Isaac 1 on 1 and can't take any credit), I am absolutely feeling a bit like a proud papa right now as I know this kid very well. Was a very good basketball player but gave it up.

His dad is 6`9" BTW and has coached him well.

Ryan Miller has a kid who is a recruit? Damn I feel old.... :lol:
 
Funny! Dad is an awesome guy. But bigger than Ryan Miller!

Isaac does not have the lower body strength that Ryan had at this age. But probably a better technician by a lot.
