Here's the main problem, zbuff. You are acting as if this wasn't best for all parties. It appears that the coaches had decided MB wasn't going to play. MB decided he wasn't going to play. Now he gets to go to a better situation for himself and the team gets a scholarship they can use for a player that they do think will play.

Bagging on the kid here is absolutely bush league.

Exactly. And you know what, Matt had to do what was best for him. If he stays as the backup at CU he is the one that has to live the rest of his life thinking 'what if?' We would not even remember him in 10 years. He wants a chance to go make a name for himself and a difference for his team-- so let him do that and move on. You are acting like the scorned lover who did not even want the other person to begin with. I am happy for Matt that he can go pursue the next chapter of his life, and am happy for CU that they now have another schollie to use for a potential NFLer (which matt would not have been if he had stayed as the third string QB.)
