MacIntyre contract approved in 8-0 vote

I don't believe its insufficient. If anything was insufficient it was the OIEC who failed to update its procedures and educated and retrain
Please add that to the Cozen report as a Finding if not already there. Pro bono contribution or billable hours?

Ok. Am I the only one who remembers Hawg as a troll hating on Mac from day one? It's no surprise to me he is acting this way. I just remember him being hand in hand with BJ when they first signed up and bitching about everything Mac. BJ has come around some but I'm not surprised by this take from Hawg. At all.

If I am wrong here, I apologize to Hawg in advance.

MM was not my first choice way back. I criticized him for some early moves (and non-moves). I was dead wrong on the Buffs last year. I applaud MM for his on-field success in 2016. I question whether he is the long-term solution at CU. Time will tell.

I am not a homer. I am not a CU fan, nor an I an Arkansas fan. I am just of fan of college football. I like good football and glad it has returned to Boulder.

I donate.

I like to debate.

I guess, by some's definition, I am troll.

You can decide.

Fair enough. I'll step aside. Proceed.

You certainly are adept at holding Stanford to higher standard that you made up to defend a hypothetical situation. We'll never know what Stanford does or doesn't cover up. And we certainly will never know what they would do in CU's recent situation.

We do know that making a parallel between the Stanford swim rapist and Tumpkin situation is a false equivalency, just like your imaginary comparison between a public university with a real issue versus a private one that only resolves the situation in your rosy imagination.

Wait, you aren't an Arky fan? I feel mislead. ....

Yes, agree, both are hypotheticals. We will never know.

Show me posts with fan(atic) behavior toward Arkansas.

You won't find them.

I've been to more Florida games than Arkansas games in the last 40 years. Chomp. Chomp. (I guess).

Speaking of chomp chomp.

Neither of you seem to be up to date on the artificial turf thread #bufflukeisms
I voted no. I think CO weather is suitable to a well maintained, environmentally conscious grass turf where, I believe at least, all-cause injuries are less.

That ship has sailed.

Who would you like to see on CU's list now, in the event of the next HC vacancy?

Good question. Will have to think about that.

Chad Morris, assuming he stays successful at SMU, comes to mind.

Lincoln Riley, a few weeks ago.

Matt Canada, real deal IMO

Tom Ruhle, if grows tired of Baylor

Whit, in a heartbeat, but unlikely

Todd Orlando, if you wanna go D, but would rather see HC experience unless exceptional assistant (like Canada).

I'd have to think more especially about other P5 coaches that could be poached or G5 coaches who might be ready.

One of my choices instead of MM.
Almost hired here the year before Hawkins was fired -- when Bohn wanted to fire him and it got overruled. Word is that the interview with McElwain didn't go well and he didn't like the lack of flexibility on academics (e.g., core requirements for admission above NCAA minimum standards, no leeway on admissions being willing to accept certain credit hours and D grades from transfers, no athlete path on academics, not being willing to gain special admits by declaring a percent of recruits to have learning disabilities, etc.). I don't believe it was a good fit. Dude can coach, though.

The whole Stanford swim coach analogy being argued is one of the dumbest I've seen in some time. Akin to eating chili at a tailgate.

I think Ruhle is one of the best qualified, young coaches out there. Strong leadership. Dynamic. Good recruiter, developer. Action-oriented leader.

You must not.

Oh Jesus. Three pages since yesterday. Guess I have to read this one. Better be ****ing good **** is all I can say.

My tailgate will make Big Jim some chili tomorrow morning after my second cup of coffee.

If he continues his upward trend, he'll have a continual top 25 team with great facilities in a fantastic local. This latest safu aside, I'm sure there will be no further reporting issues as everyone will be properly trained, which the OEIC should have been doing all along, but I did digress. If all that happens, which is likely, why wouldn't CU be a great HC job?

He will go to the SEC or the B1G at the first opportunity and how can you blame him. CU is a crap job in a Bull**** PC environment. Then CU will hire another up-and comer. CU has become a stepping stone job.
