MacIntyre talks about spring ball, says they´ll start without a depth chart

Opponents will learn much more from watching SJSU film than getting something from some shlub like me saying "wow, Powell is looking strong".

Besides, what opponent would be so worried about us they'd scour fan sites for that one little edge they need to squeek by us. We can't even beat an FCS team at Folsom.

Herein lies the dilemma. Although all of the comments you reference above seem innocuous enough, if this parts from what Big Mac envisions, practices are going to end up closed. I suspect rather than try to create some arbitrary "bright-line" rule, Plati will just say no reports whatsoever, which pretty much defeats the purpose of opening the practices in the first place.

This is what confuses and irritates me. They want to "create buzz" about the team by holding open practices, however they don't want any discussion of what happens in those practices that are supposed to be creating said buzz.

What's the first rule of Fight Club, kids? Learn it, live it, love it.

I think we're going to have to post an "Official Practice Thread" to keep the content in a single spot. We'll just do the best we can to avoid anything that crosses the line by moderating it. And if Plati or another SID official contacts us, we'll be compliant with edits / removals.

But "Zero" ain't gonna happen.

What's the ruling on the double bear eagle?

Waldo = playing on right side of formation
90 = playing on left side of formation

For QB play:

Liver = clean uni (no sacks)

Mountain Buff = holds ball too long

Frank Azar = strong arm
