Martinez quit....??

You don't tell the Coach, when asked why you didn't let yourself be carted to the Locker room to call your dad, the he can't control you or your life.

Bo was right to lay into him. Kid quit in the Fall, this wouldn't be a major surprise.

I remember when everyone hated Bellotti. Not that long ago...and yet now many fans would accept him as HC. Of course, now we know he doesn't want the job.

A problem with CU fans...is they hate a lot of people...and I'm thinking they're running out of good people to hate. And will get stuck with some no name..another home run.

It is very rare to see a coach get washed away with another coach who is FIRED - only to see the assistant coach return.

Amazing what a difference a couple of weeks can make, we have won back to back games, the offense looks great and now all of a sudden if we aren't the better team heading into this game. Who would have thought that we would be the cohesive team heading into this game?
 
Here's a transcript of what Bo said to Martinez on the sideline based on lip-reading...after watching it, I can't find fault in its accuracy...

- Taylor was supposed to be getting treatment on his ankle (and x-rays, I think)
- he went to get his cell phone before getting treatment
- he was at least texting, maybe making calls, to let his dad know that the injury wasn't serious
- Bo questioned (lit into?) a member or members of the training staff to find out why it was taking so long with Taylor
- Bo was told about the cell phone delaying Taylor getting out onto the field (possibly because Taylor had been rude to the trainers and they weren't going to take the heat for him)

Pretty much right on except PRIOR to the big ass chewing, martinez told Bo he can't control him or his life as Bo was walking away. Wrong move.

2nd string QB out for the year. 3rd is a potential fumble or pick 6 every time he takes a snap. 4th is RB in Wildcat. 5th & 6th are Latravis Washington and Ron Kellogg.

Still a better QB situation than last year at this time.

Martinez was headed to UCLA this fall if not made the starter so it has been tense all year. Most people took offense at his taking a seat at the end of the bench when pulled from games. No support of the other QBs at all, unlike how they treated him.

There is a reason NU was recruiting 2 QBs this year, even after getting a good one last year. Woefully thin at that spot for the Offense being run.

RalphieReport is re-tweeting local news in lincoln confirming he missed all team meetings today, but denying he quit.

well cornnation has started a thread and updates as they come out, so good news for the buffs alot of questions for the corn going into friday's game

Of course the starting QB of the team we play in 6 days, potentially quiting will have our attention.
