MBB GAME THREAD - CU @ USC | Feb. 9th @8pm | ESPNU

So hard to figure what the winning formula is for this team. Bey and Gatling basically non factors tonight after crushing the last couple games. I guess it’s good that we can have different guys each night step up ... tonight it was Battey and Schwartz. Kin is so fun to watch, the most complete player we’ve had since Burks. The intensity right now is palpable. You get the feeling they’re really turning a corner. May run out of time this year but what we’re seeing now just builds a ton of anticipation for next year.

The winning formula, as it always has been under Tad, is high intensity on Defense and efficiency on offense.

The thing they are all turning the corner on is their defensive intensity. Starting to trust that elite defense can buoy them when the offense isn't working.

So perfect we get them again at home the last regular season game of the year. If we’re still on a roll our crowd should just go nuts on Enfield and his cronies.

Very possible that game could be the "rebirth" of the C-Unit. Has been a while since the student section has had the opportunity or desire to screw with someone's head lol

Kin finally looked like Kin last night. I think it's that he did like Spencer did several years ago when he ran his mouth before the CSU game, put a target on his back, had to back it up, and dominated. That's what Kin had going on last night after calling USC dirty and saying payback was coming after last year.

It's a very good thing when your PG and team leader has brass balls.

I don't see why this team cant keep winning. When he is on, Kin is one of the best PGs in NCAA. Bey is becoming one of the best players in the conference. Battey, Shwartz, Gattling, and Kountz are settling in to confident dynamic players.

I see one sure L (at Washington) left. Yeah, winning in Pullman is never easy, but things are now clicking-running Oregon off our floor plus two wins in LA? Love to see this group get hot and play their way into an NIT bid.

Big deal if he dropped the f-bomb. Nothing wrong with being a bit excited with how this season has went so far. Good to see the guys upping their game.
