MBB - Week 11 (Jan 15th - Jan 21st)

How the hell did we lose to them again?
They were flat today. Like, didn't play hard at all except for their freshman Garza who was balling out despite getting his nose crushed early in the game.

Purdue's efficiency ended them before they had a chance to wake up.

Buffs were going through a rough patch in the season and hadn't figured out what it takes to win away from home (or the intensity CBB requires every night, every possession). Often it's about when and where you play someone. I believe that CU would win that game if they played again now. Same with San Diego and CSU.

From an RPI standpoint would we have rather won those 3 games, or the ASU UofA and UCLA games? Right now seems like those 6 games are canceling each other out.

We're not even in the discussion for the bubble without the UA, ASU, and UCLA wins.....Nevertheless, If we wind up in the NIT, it'll be because of those games IMO. Arizona-Stanford on CBS..........my initial instinct is to pull for UA here-Stanford is probably more of a threat to us for a first round bye in Vegas than Arizona is. Thoughts?

I’m totally cool with UA going 16-2 in PAC-12 play with a CU sweep their only blemish
