What's the Nubs' ideal scenario for Riley babysitting the program for a few years before retirement? Bring in Frost as OC and name him HCIW? That could make for some awkward press conferences if Riley wants to hang on more years than Frost is willing to wait.
 
Updated: Staff already looking to have a heavy Oregon State lean. Looking like Frost is staying at Oregon for the time being.

Kamel, looking like 4 or 5 Riley assistants out of his allotment of 9 will be people who worked for him during this year's 5-7 effort. Acceptable?

hmm... i guess it depends on whether or not there is an OC spot (or at least passing game coordinator spot) for Bill Callahan.

I'm fine with whoever he wants...not like our DC was doing **** for us and our offense was so one dimensional it was comical. I hope he keeps Ron Brown and Ganz they're solid.

Since we're going to that tard bowl in San Diego against USC I expect nothing but a good game of us ****ing up for 4 solid quarters and doing what we always do against USC. Lose badly.

Makes my balls so wet.

I'll still be cheering. Drunk....but cheering. Maybe crying too. Definitely crying.

Riley has had some good games against SC, outplayed his talent.

I'd rather see the corn lose but it might be fun to see all the fusker fans who hated this move if he let them to a win over SC.

NC talk would go off the charts, only to set up the inevitable fall next year.

Totally underwhelming hire after getting rid of a 9 win coach, and he's certainly made enough mistakes already, but I feel for the guy.

You had a previous coach who deeply entrenched an "us against the world," mentality. And those guys still on the team blame the administration and the fans for their head coach being gone and don't seem to have any fire for Riley. Add in a delusional fanbase that demands conference championships and January bowl games and the guy never had a chance lol.

Yeah ... I kind of feel bad for Riley, he always seemed like a good guy and a solid coach. But then he chose to go to that ****hole of a school and probably should have known how delusional of a fanbase they have, so it's all on him.
