I put ‘best’ in the title but I mean that as “best in your opinion.” So it could be the win that felt the best, or the game that mattered most, or the game that got (one of) the monkey off the back. Or just one of the games you were at. I also included games like @Arizona and Oregon State because those were our biggest score differentials (home and road) in Pac12 play for anyone that might define his best win that way.

I voted for Washington State. That was such an incredible game from start to finish.

Oregon. Even though that was a historically bad defense for Oregon, it truly felt like beating a top tier team at the time, and it was on the road. Set the tone for the rest of the season and have the team believe that they could make a special season.

Had they blown the Oregon game, they wouldn’t have made it to the CCG and it easily could have shattered their confidence leading to a 5-6 win type season, IMO. Plus it was such a fun game to watch.

I went back and forth on the Oregon game and then the Stamford game. I agree with everything you are saying. I still went with Utah since the game was so close against a ranked opponent. Without that win, we don't win the South and aren't in the CCG.

It was so good some coaches cried.

Watch this PAC 12 Network recap and tell me if there was a better game in the MM Era:

No better game in the Montez era, for sure. Best single game by a CU QB?

In hindsight, CU’s coming out party was cheapened a little bit. Oregon had a down year finishing with a 4-8 record.

Gimme a division title and some old school Folsom magic.

Stanford.

Oregon turned out to be suck that year, but Stanford was Stanford that day, with McCaffery and everything. Boring as Hell game, but a great victory over a very, very good football team on the road.

That was a good one, for sure.

That game was threatening to tip the wrong way until Fisher came out of nowhere and stopped the wazzu receiver 1/2 yard short on that 4th down play in the 4th quarter. Luke Falk played out of his head that day. Huge game. I'd forgotten that they came into that game undefeated in conference.

Nationally televised game. Real pressure (no room for error) and they came back after a slow start. Very good win.

Didn't Fisher get named the Pac 12 Defensive player of the week that game? Anyhow, depending on how he does this upcoming season, he is another Buffs DB with a good chance at the NFL...
