yes, he won it that week.Didn't Fisher get named the Pac 12 Defensive player of the week that game? Anyhow, depending on how he does this upcoming season, he is another Buffs DB with a good chance at the NFL...

The defense was incredible that day. I was pulling my hair out when Stanford was in the red zone in the 4th, and then we got that crucial turnover.Stanford. On the road, put on a defensive clinic against a hometown heisman candidate like mccaffery and we actually moved the ball well between the hashes. Probably the closest Mac has been to dominating a top tier team.
Good outcome. Ugly game. Made the top 10 worst CFB games of 2016.I voted Stanford, but that UCLA win was a payback slugfest that was extra sweet despite getting dragged into an ugly game that was much closer than it should have been. Been a long time since I’d cheered at Folsom like I did on Oliver’s return.

my thoughts exactly as I voted. and with our backup QB in.Oregon, by far. MM's emotion, the team desire, the back and forth, the drama, the catches by Ross and Bobo, the turning point, watching all of Autzen eat bags of dicks. Serendippity baby!
Sincerely,

yes...thatThe Rise was special.
Going with Utah because that’s the one that clinched the division.
I still remember literally jumping off my couch and and screaming, "YES!", when Spoon grabbed that INT. My fiance and her friend about 10 feet away in the kitchen were so caught off guard they came running in to make sure everything was OK. I was so emotionally invested in that game (and am obviously very invested in the program itself), that the happiness and relief hit me like a ton of bricks and made me tear up. I should seek help. Many good reasons for all of the responses here. I went with Oregon because of one simple reason. I was convinced we would blow another potential win when OU marched down the field with relative ease and was one more play away from a win. When Witherspoon intercepted that pass, I actually cheered in my own house, which hadn't happened since the Miracle in Michigan. Was from then on a believer that this team had finally had something go right when they needed it most, against a team that had for the past 6 years absolutely destroyed them.
I'll join you in the therapy session. There was so much frustration that had built up over the years with potential wins that were completely blown that Witherspoon's play let it all wash away.I still remember literally jumping off my couch and and screaming, "YES!", when Spoon grabbed that INT. Exactly my thoughts. Stanford was a gritty, ugly win, on the road, against a really good opponent, and Oliver's sweet INT to basically seal that one had me pumped too, but wasn't even close to Oregon. Wazzu and Utah had their moments and ultimately were the games that clinched the division, but emotionally, nothing compared to the Oregon game for me.I'll join you in the therapy session. No other win that year got me that emotional, even though some were probably more "important".
True. But that game did not fall into that category. It was just ugly. Take away Oliver’s return and that was just awful football all around.Sometimes ugly is beautiful
