We lost to them and Taco Fall in the NIT back in the day, so it would be a revenge game for TadNah, UCF is the true P5 school in Florida.
Selection committee chair said 5 bid thieves this year. (Oregon, UNM, UAB, Duquesne, and NC State) Said the last two years there have been 3 combined.A lot of "bid thieves" like Oregon and New Mexico this year that won conference tourneys.
Three 11s went to bid thieves. Moved the first four games up a line.I need an explanation of how #10 seeded teams have to go through a play-in? Is it because the were among the "last 4 in?"
Also, watching the Gonzaga v St. Msry's WCC final (my son is visiting Gonzaga on Monday) my comment was "CU would beat them by 20 points." And they got a #5 seed.!
The last four at large have play in games.I need an explanation of how #10 seeded teams have to go through a play-in? Is it because the were among the "last 4 in?"

They are 1-2 vs. common opponents, while we are 2-2 (CSU & WSU)Okay my complaining is done. Let's beat Boise State!!!
This was a gift from the committee to give Tad an extra win on his way to a natty
If you win your conference tournament if you're.....New Mexico (for example), are you one of the last four conference champions? Why are the bid thieves seeded so high? Are they contractually not allowed to be lower than an 11 or be a play in team?
Should be out tonight. When are game times released?
Tech will handle NC State IMO. They're really good. Ignore what you saw against Houston.I like the bracket for the Buffs. NC State or Kentucky to get to the Elite 8. Very doable
Gonzaga was wildly over seeded. Not a lot to quibble about otherwise, imo. Most of bracket matrix had the zags at 7 or 8.I need an explanation of how #10 seeded teams have to go through a play-in? Is it because the were among the "last 4 in?"

You cannot be assigned a play-in game on the 10 for 11 line if you are an AQ bid; you can be one of the 16 seed play in teams though as an AQ.Why are the bid thieves seeded so high? Are they contractually not allowed to be lower than an 11 or be a play in team?
They're a bunch of awkward athlete white guys with some basketball skills. How do we match up with Boise? Don't know much about them.
St. Johns players have voted to refuse to participate in the NIT Tournament after being snubbed by the NCAA
USC????????
South Carolina?
Boise and Florida fans don’t seem thrilled having us as a potential first game match up.
The committee takes the 32 AQs as in, then they hash out who the 36 at large bids are, then you take those 68 teams and rank them. Why are the bid thieves seeded so high? Are they contractually not allowed to be lower than an 11 or be a play in team?
I'm confused...did people think they deserved better? Wasn't their NET 20 spots lower than ours?Washington State a #7?
They are 12 spots higher than us. Seems odd.I'm confused...did people think they deserved better? Wasn't their NET 20 spots lower than ours?
A 7 seed seems exactly right.
I think CSU has a favorable matchup here. CSU can get hot and hit a lot of 3's.Virginia by double digits.
Tony Bennett teams are a bitch to play against if you don't see them regularly.
