NCAA 2024 Tourney game thread - #10 seed MEN's Bball - 2nd round game vs. #2 seed Marquette (In Indianapolis; Sunday, 3/24, 10:10 AM MT; CBS)

This game is a,wrap. Buff players are afraid. No effort chasing down balls, tentative dribbles, giving up their dribbles. You can see their body language, players on the court don't feel they can compete against Marquette.

Eddie hasn't been real good, but several passes to him were worse. We need the outside shot.

not a big deal, but one play Cody is bringing the ball up close to the sideline, and M coach is crouching there banging the floor rapidly. seemed like a juvie attempt to distract

Yea I think they're hanging tough despite Marquette being on fire and we can't hit a damm 3. Marquette plays great defense but we're also helping them with some bad passing
 
We were within 7 despite Marquette having a dream shooting half. Then TDS happened…lazy on D and awful on O…down 11 at the half. We are still in it, but need him to either step up or sit down

We are on a knifes edge
If they follow KJ and fight, we can win this game
Not sure how you do not play Cody most of the second half cause Hadley has zero confidence and TDS is playing passiv

They’ve also had some spectacular layups sprinkled in there as well though. They’ve been playing out of their ass, we’ve been contributing to that, but not to that extent.
 
Eddie can't play in this game. He is such a a liability on defense. With Dak they have to work way harder and don't get wide open shots.
We can win if we start hitting shots and bench Eddie.

He has to simplify and just do his job in the post, no more passing, come and get the ball from him way out high
