You act like Montana is some down in the dumps program.
That was fun!
Montana has been a top 10-15 program in FCS for the past few years but that isn't what they were when they were playing for championships 8-9 years ago.
More of a case of NDSU being the powerhouse program for the past few years, completely dominant. To beat a team as good as they are is a significant, big time, win.

Great game. Felt bad for the freshman for NDSU who kept getting picked on. Hard way to start your college career. Surprised they had to start a freshman after4 straight championships.
63 Schollies max and some injuries can leave a team thin.
As long as it doesn't take him to some other school in the Pac 12.
It was a great game, I'd rather play Hawaii than those two teams.

Could put a serious dent in the MWC-level recruiting of both CSEwe and WYO, particularly WYO!
There's some quality FCS football played in the north within the Big Sky and Missouri Valley. Many of the programs in the MWC are closer to them in talent than they are to Boise State.

Maybe UNLV after their current HS coach flames out badly? Or WAZZU after the Pirate sets sail?
Uniforms look almost the same.
Stitt for some reason, and as much respect as he gets for what he has done, doesn't seem to be part of that inner coaching circle that gets guys jobs. He isn't going directly to a P5 school but could do some real damage in the MWC or the MAC or some other school on that level.
Seemed like a good guy when I met him over beers in the club area at the Keg a couple years ago.
Very easy to root for. I'm just worried that he's finally starting his move up too late. If he does prove to have what it takes, he may never get a shot at a big time program because he's perceived as "too old."
