Nebraska will not beat us

Buffs will take this one - Hawk will go to the top of the mountain and find the zen needed for this big game

Have to put Ganz on his arse early and often in this one...

CU has a good chance if they can contain Lucky on the RB passes into the flats. Lucky is VERY dangerous in open space but up the middle, the guy trips over the yard lines!

Also cover Purify on the deep routes and slants.

The health of our DBs will have an impact on our ability to do the second.

Ganz is very tough according to Charlie McBride. Apparently he openly questioned the decision not to use him in the Journal Star last week after NU did better with him on the field. Said that'd be the QB he'd start.

Wheatley has a broken bone in his foot - might be able to play but I have a hard time he will be near 100%. Others have various injuries but they should be able to play.

If he's going to cover Purify he needs to be ready considering that foot might give Purify a step on him. Who's his back-up and how is he???

Good question, and not good. are my replies to your queries. We need a monster game out of T-wheat and Dizon if we want to win this against a revived Nebraska offense, we are going to have to stop them some of the time becuase we are too young to score on every drive.

Our backup is very green, and a talent like Wheatley is just very hard to replace. Our backups can do the job but it will take a good game up front to get it done.

Purify will be a big challenge for us if we allow Ganz to get into a rhythm.

Nice avatar upgrade. Almost as nice as 96's commie hotty.
Glad to see a tight bod in white replace that old and menacing sh*t eating grin.

I've noticed though that all of our other receivers have a hard time when they go up against physical defensive backs. Purify is hot and cold on that one as well. One game he'll shove guys all over the place and the next it's like he's getting knocked around. It probably would have been better for CU's defense if Keller was still in there because he's not very mobile where Ganz is probably going to draw one guy off of the defense as a spy.

In the end, it comes down to the running game. If the Buffs stick with the running game and control the clock, we win. The offense needs to keep the defense off the field next Friday-that didn't happen during the Mizzou game or the second half of the ISU game.

Hugh Charles needs to get at least 20-25 carries. No backfield by committee this week. Let the senior get us bowl eligible in his last home game.
