That's a relief.

I have to assume that the great effort at practice was greater than the great effort at practice in the 2 weeks leading up to CSU (which were greater than the greatest of the previous great practices).

I think I'm going to call my bookie and put the savings account, the house and maybe my baby (white male babies get top dollar on the black market right?) up on CU to cover Friday night. Woohoo!
 
More good news, I have been banned at netturds while husker trolls continue..

I will never post their again, i'm done with that POS site.

:lol: Unreal the dumb stuff that spews from there. Buff enuff blasted me for predicitng a 24-20 cu win saying cu would crush csu and now he bashes hawk and cu one minute then says he rewatched the game and cu should have won.:wow:

I probably bashed you for predicting a close game too (even if I didn't post it).:smile2:

On paper, we were 3 TDs better than CSU last year and our talent improved while theirs graduated. And Coach Talkins really made it sound like we were firing on all cylinders heading into this game. Kudos to you for recognizing the stink of bullsh!t sooner than I did.

Whew, that's a relief. Somehow I am a little skeptical about the Hawkisms at this point.
 
Fabulous. So I can forget all about how inept we looked after a full Spring and Fall camp of similarly "fantastic" practices.

The guy never stops. One BS after another. I'm sorry we looked like a pee-wee football team but we looked real good in practice.

Why did he defer to the 2nd half? Why not take the ball,show some confidence in your offense and take an early lead and get the crowd behind you?

I have not heard hawk once say to anyone that it's his fault,he should have had them better prepared.

In general, I always support deferring to the 2nd half. Especially in the very first game, where there's a good chance of opening day jitters, it's best to put your defense on the field first and try to establish some field position. That strategy nearly worked, until CSU hit a 50 yard pass on 3rd and 8. :bang:
 
Well we do practice against our ourselves. It is entirely possible we look awesome.
 
Ugh I bet Cody looked incredible, Sumler ran hard and Maxwell and Espinoza caught everything thrown their way. Adkins also blocked up a storm.

I almost want to go over there and sign up and talk about how we should extend Hawk now, just to get everyone all riled up.. :smile2:


Or maybe suggest that Hawk should hire Vince Okruch to help out with the defense and recruiting.. :lol:

Or that maybe we should hire Dave Logan as coach to replace Hawk..

Or in honor of Matt Thompson, suggest that we as fans should start brawls with opposing teams fans when we lose..
