So, somewhere here I read that Butch Davis was the one that had NC opt out of the series against us. That leads me to wonder if the rumor about Butch being interviewed might now be true and that maybe he didn't get an offer from us at all and this is some sort of payback....

well, i heard a rumor that he did have some interest in the CU job, possibly fleeting...

i don't think that this is about payback, however. i think it is about him not wanting to play a potentially very tough ooc game. he wants to pad the w/l record with patsies, then go into his uber-soft joke of a conference and win some games and then whine like a little bitch about not getting any respect in the rankings and bowl selections.

east coast football sucks dead donkey ass in general. i have wanted CU to play these teams for YEARS. even a pretty ****ty CU team would win most times against the likes of west virginia, pitt, syracuse, etc. the east coast media is so freaking myopic-- they think stupid penn state is actually good. ****, the sec schools, the p10, most of the b12, etc. would roll thru an acc or big east schedule... penn state's big mistake was joining the b10-- it means they are destined to have some losses and they can't pad their record like when they were an indie. michigan and ohio state are just better than them, year in and year out.

and the stupid ass journalists on the east coast don't even understand the game of football enough to know any of this. they think the p10 is weak, but those poor assholes haven't seen ATHLETES like you've got out west. it is such homerism. the only schools that don't suck in those eastern conferences are the florida schools. they are usually good.

His lunch on Rodeo drive didn't go so well. The mamosa was warm and the tofu salad was limp. His client fired him after making him pick up the tab for lunch. Then he fought traffic home while crying about global warming. :devil2:

Once they added Miami, VT, and BC they all of sudden look damn good. FSU was obviously the anchor there for a long time. Some people think Wake will be very good this year and may give NU a lot of trouble. The game is at Winston Salem.

The Big East is obviously the weakest BCS conference with WV, and Louisville being the best schools.
