UNI is a prototypical mid-major giant-killer, a good 3 point shooting team with a few big body boys who hustle and get offensive rebounds, not to mention an underrated coach (Bill Walton was raving about that guy last night, and he's kind of a CU homer)
What kills me is seeing a decreasing amount of fire and want in this team (i.e. lazy play). Schwartz and Lucas, for example, started out the season playing a higher level of defense for them, but have reverted back a bit. It was only after 3 made 3's where DS started to play #11 tight.
On the offensive end, Battey is really the only guy who can create and get to the rim from 15+ feet out for us. Kin can only really do this against less athletic players, but he does create opportunities when he drives and passes. Bey is a cleanup guy / slasher, not a skilled creator. Everyone else is just looking for a spot up 3 or a chance to make a half-ass attempt and driving, most often resulting in a turnover.
Is there a reason why we can't see Barthelemy?
I was pretty close with Kyle Fogg in college. The dude was always good at defense, but turned into a scorer because he WANTED it – we really got nothing to lose, let the team play loose and encourage them to be aggressive on O Tad!
