This is awesome. Boost for our defense and another chance for Nu'umoto
Are you saying we DO take our football seriously enough?I think he's suggesting that Colorado is the only school in the NCAA that would reinstate him.
FIFYI think he's suggesting that Colorado is the only school in the NCAA that would have to "reinstate" him.
So with Nu'umoto, Mustafa and all these badass players for our front 7, do see them do the haka during pregame in preparation for the utter destruction of the opposition's OL? Doing so could become almost as cool as Miami's turnover chain.
All Blacks won 34-17 . . . so yes please to Haka, and winning.Who won?
No. BYU does it and we should follow them in nothing. So with Nu'umoto, Mustafa and all these badass players for our front 7, do see them do the haka during pregame in preparation for the utter destruction of the opposition's OL? Doing so could become almost as cool as Miami's turnover chain.
No. But it seems as though most of the top Pacific Islander players play their HS football on the mainland these days. In many cases, even moving to the mainland to get more exposure and opportunity to be recruited. What I'm saying is that you don't have to spend time in HI to recruit a lot of kids with that heritage.Spring game '01, I think, Tuioti-Mariner, BJ the Ginger Poly, and a couple others were on one team (you know, when it was a actual game), and the lot of them did an impressive haka. Cabral coming back in an administrative role could be a big deal, especially if one of the near-future coaching hires is also Poly.
I'll be sporting CU gear in April, when I visit Hawaii. Do we have any offers to '19 kids there?
We talked about doing the haka when I was on CU’s rugby team and we didn’t for this exact reason. If we performed the haka against BYU (who had a bunch of poly players) it would have been silly.Lol at the idea of the Pac 12 team with the least amount of Poly players doing the Haka. Reminds me of the time a few years back when I coached against Lakewood high school. During warmups 65 suburban white kids came to the 50 yardline, faced our team and did some variation of the Haka in an attempt at intimidation, I guess? It was laughable.
