I'd say right tackle with the ability to move into guard. With Moretti's health concerns, where do y'all think he'll play? Thinking about it, I don't know whether it should be inside or out, but lean toward guard instead of tackle.
I'm curious how you think a 6'4" 290 lb Center is undersized, and why you think he can't add weight?Undersized. Perhaps plateaued. Doesn’t handle mass well. He was good among many not so goods. Don’t believe the hype. Believe your eyes. He is not one of the best Cs in the conference. Great young man by all accounts. Hard worker. CU can do better at this position.
I don't see Lynott as a lock.Lynott and Pursell seem like the only locks to me. Albright seems like a solid bet but you never know with a transfer
Whaat?I think the two deep is pretty pointless.
LT: Albright
LG: Sherman
C: Purcell
RG: Lynott
RT: Fillip (if he stays)
Then you have Sherman able to move out to tackle if there are injuries. Moretti if you first off the bench inside. Lynott is your backup center. Then competition determines who comes off after that between Sauovo, Ray and Roddick.
Honestly is Albright, Fillip and Sherman stay healthy and on the team we should be able to put a decent line out there. The biggest thing I will be watching is if Moretti, Ray, Roddick or Sauovo can push Lynott inside to center.
I agree. I think Lynott is likely to start, but I wouldn't rule out some combination of Moretti, Sherman, or Sauvao being better than him at Guard. That also doesn't factor in Ray or Roddick, either.I don't see Lynott as a lock.
I would say Hambright, Pursell, and Sherman are locks. Sherman was very good for an undersized freshman at LT last year.
Just saying that listing 10 players isn't really relevant to who will play. The rotation is almost always 7-8 players. For example, Lynott would likely come in at center if Pursell went down so who cares if Jynes is listed behind him. Obviously if Fillip isn't here that 7-8 man rotation changes so that is why I posted that. So I pointed out the 5 I think will start, the first off the bench (Moretti), and how we would deal with an injurty to the center (Lynott), and then I said the last backup would be Sauovo, Ray or Roddick.Whaat?
How do you post that the two-deep is pointless and then proceed to highlight that the guy you have slated at RT might not even be on the team next month? Then you go on to talk about injuries and hoping the the two-deep guys can push the starters?
Albright Hamington?Arlington Hambright is the OSU transfer, everyone is doing a little name scramble with “Albright”.
You're not taking this seriously enough, lefty.I would relish an in depth discussion regarding who will be the 3rd versus 4th string right guard.
Go!
Better than Hamlington.Arlington Hambright is the OSU transfer, everyone is doing a little name scramble with “Albright”.

You do love you some condiment puns! I just want a big, strong, mean OLine that wants to compote!I would relish an in depth discussion regarding who will be the 3rd versus 4th string right guard.

Our OL needs to ketchup to truly compete. You do love you some condiment puns! I just want a big, strong, mean OLine that wants to compote!
Aioli want to win.Our OL needs to ketchup to truly compete.
It's a tough schedule. we mayo or may not get a bowl game.Aioli want to win.
Maybe he will add weight. He not a starting quality OL. His grades prove it.I'm curious how you think a 6'4" 290 lb Center is undersized, and why you think he can't add weight?
His frame is nowhere near maxed out.
Players do improve, you know?Maybe he will add weight. He not a starting quality OL. His grades prove it.
I hope he does. I did not see it during the season. His grades declined. Maybe he will respond to the new coaching and realize his potential.Players do improve, you know?

IMO, Hambright is the closest thing to a lock to start on the entire team, outside of Viska and Montez.
Bowl game is going to make miso happy! It's a tough schedule. we mayo or may not get a bowl game.
I have no idea really, but I think the declining grades should be taken with a grain of salt. From USC on the entire operation was a **** show. I am, as usual at this time of year, optimistic that we look to have descent depth, and if we can run the same 5 guys out for 8-10 games, regardless of who that end up being, we should be in good shape from an OL perspective. I don't think our top 5 will make other P5 teams jealous, but I don't think it will be as embarrassing as it was the back half of last season either.I hope he does. I did not see it during the season. His grades declined. Maybe he will respond to the new coaching and realize his potential.
Do everyone a tahini flavor and quit being such a pesto with these saucy puns.Bowl game is going to make miso happy!
