Official 2012 University of Colorado vs. Arizona St game thread

Webb made a great move to side step the blitz and then threw it into the ground. The exact same that has happened the last 2 times. Webb cannot throw the screen pass unfortunately. That was probably our best weapon last year...

Webb must think that the ball must be thrown as hard as possible right at the receiver's feet on all those screen passes. He does it every single time.

They are pathetically bad - across the entire board.

The level of incompetence of this coaching staff in a nutshell:

CU scores 10 points to end the 1st half to get some real momentum, and give the team a chance. What is the one ABSOLUTE thing that must NOT happen? The opposing team returns the opening kickoff of the second half for a touchdown. Epic failure!

Why is that coaching? The players didn't execute. The kick was a line drive to the goal line. No hang time. One of the best returners in the nation. Our guys were barely to the forty when he caught it.

Oh, I don't think that was the ONLY "one thing that must not happen". There were other "one thing's", too - giving up an easy TD on their first possession. Giving them a quick turnover on OUR first possession.

I keep hoping Embree's not running thru these lists and has mistaken them for something he SHOULD be doing.

How's Embree doing against the betting line, by the way?
