official 2014 Colorado @ USC game thread

I fully expect changes. There has to be a huge focus on improving the defense.

Coaching matters and has to be better but most of it is a talent issue, and not many other coaches think a lot of the guys we are bringing in.

Look at the bright side guys. Unless we totally **** the bed in the last quarter, it's extremely unlikely that we'll lose by as much as aTm did today.

I was thinking the bright side was not getting shanked walking back to my rental car outside the Coliseum after the game. So glad not to have made this road trip.

Great motor by Lopez on that play. Love seeing big guys hustle

While hoping that the rental car is still there.

that commentator just made a ****ty comment. "you wanted to be a member of the Pac12? there you go..."

fick dich arseloch

I'm about to reveal my ignorance, but I thought Baer was out with the departure of the last staff. He came with McIntyre?

yeah Baer looked real interested laying back in is chair when they showed him... wonder of MM told him he's on notice. I know MM wants to win at CU and make a name for himself as a HC. Baer is jeopardizing that.

Warning: Making the point that CU played USC even for the final 3 quarters is a bannable offense.

No one is claiming moral victory. We get it, you only want W's. So does everyone else, most just don't want to be negative about everything.

I actually think it's important we make this look a little respectable. I, unlike yourself, am not in the camp of "we're going 4-2 down the stretch" so we need to make this 2-10 season look decent.

Baer was a defensive coach at SJSU when Mac got there and because of his years of experience coaching in California he was retained and promoted to DC. He was named interim HC for SJSU's bowl game after Mac got the CU job and then immediately after the game it was announced he would be following Mac to Boulder.

You may be thinking of Greg Brown who was DC under Embree and worked at CU under other head coaches.

My bad. Thought you were being sarcastic.

Shay Fields just made the case to be our PR. He looked very natural on that. And the one guy we can't afford to get hurt is Spruce.

To be fair, I said I logically thought we'd go 1-5 down the stretch, but was hoping for 4-2

Thank you. I appreciate you taking the time.

I'm getting tired of the coddling bull****, we can't tackle for ****. Baer is just a redass that needs to retire, go fly fishing or something. Neinas, he needs to go as well. It was an all around embarrassment, Mac needs to crack the whip.

I just listened to Mac, he mentioned assistants quite a bit. He said they practiced the Texas route for like 2 weeks, that was a big play if I recall. Pretty telling.

Finally remembered who I was thinking of: Kent Riddle. I cliniced myself.
