Official 2015 Colorado @ Washington State game thread

WSU has allowed opponents to score on 95% of goal to go situations this year. 4th worst in football. We can't punch it in on these scrubs.
 
How anyone can expect a qb to succeed when you can't run block or at least try and commit to the run is beyond me
 
A zone read with Assay keeping it might have worked at some point. Just sayin'

Both sides of the ball. Every time we play Leach, just need to dust off the defensive gameplans of Brown (under both Hawkins and Embree). Then put them away because they sucked against everyone else.
 
What is with Kelley and the low snaps? He does it all the damn time. He's been a ****ing liability on that.

That's your opinion. I think Apsay has certain skills as a QB that Sefo doesn't, just as Sefo has skills that Apsay doesn't. But I didn't see anything tonight that made me think that Apsay gives us anything close to a chance at winning. He didn't hit any deep passes, he didn't run the zone read well, and he threw two picks and no TD's all against a very bad defense. I'm not saying he won't or shouldn't be the starter at some point, but I don't think we should have started him over Sefo this year. At all.

But...he throws a nice ball.
 
That play at the end of half where we had Powell at FB and Cade lined up under center looked fun to me. I don't know why we can't run the power offense sometimes when we have probably two solid FBs on the roster. Then we can line up in shotgun still for fun at times too.
 
Seriously folks, MM needs to go. We progressed, but loser karma is all over this program and he isn't going to get us out of it.
 
I wonder what the record is for most consecutive 1st and goal-to-go series without taking a shot into the endzone. We've got to be up there. It's never been more clear how badly Lindgren needs the boot.
 
So tired of the same **** every week. Love Apsay's fire and emotion but the oline coach needs to get some things fixed. A ton of injuries but too much of the same crap week in and week out. The weakest link on this team

Did you say this in Sefo's first start? I am not letting Apsay off the hook, but give me a break if you think Sefo would have done that much better in this game. We had the worst offensive game plan I've ever seen.

If Utah decides to try we're ****ed. I can't see anyone outside of a handful of players giving a **** next week.
 
Can we just forfeit next week's game, so we can all move on to Buff Hoops. Tad's got himself a decent little squad there.
 
Been a huge supporter of HCMM, but wonder if he's accepted that his crew collapses every Saturday.

I totally agree, I put very little of this on Apsay. Most of it is on BL and the OL. But, it's the same coaching staff and the same supporting cast that Sefo has played with all year. I do think Sefo would have done better in this game, though.
