Official 2016 Colorado Football at Arizona Game thread

Man I must be an old 31 year old because I damn near feel totally asleep 4-5 times by the end of this game. No more 8 o'clock kickoffs please? GO BUFFS!

Uninspiring. But we won on the road against a team with some talent and nothing to lose. We won against a team that was embarrassed last week. And we won despite a high lack of motivation.

The last three games have all felt weird.

I don't quite get the negativity, honestly. We won pretty easily. The game just had an odd flow. Seemed like our offense was either going three and out or scoring; no in between.

8-2
6-1 in Pac-12
3-1 in conference road games for season
3-0 in conference home games (and counting)
Likely ranked #10 in the nation on Tuesday
Good shot of College GameDay coming to Boulder on Saturday

Still too excited to need a nap!

Winning is a helluva drug.

It sure as hell wasn't pretty but ill take a 49-24 win. We should've won by more though but who cares. We didn't play well really, flashes here and there but ill take it everyday of the week and twice on Sunday.

This had trap game written all over it-especially with the chaos tonight. We're a top 10 team, and a definite playoff contender. Not a virtuoso performance, but an effective one.

So strange to have a "letdown" blowout. Either way, the boys got the win on the road against a team that took UW to overtime and today was a major upset bug day. This team now gets to go home for the remainder of the regular season and the division title goes through Boulder.

I wish we had a more effective pass rush.
Only read the last page of this thread, but...

I feel that we deliberately didn't flush the quarterback, preferring to play the pass to the run. We'll put more pressure on Falk, but ****, I'm not sure it will matter. It will be on our secondary as much as our rush. Could be a fun game next week.

Our pass rush is fine. Having a guy like Dawkins that is fast as **** really screws with a pass rush, plus he knows how to get rid of the ball. (Except for that one time)

That won't be the case with Falk, who doesn't really run. Does get rid of the ball fast though, so it's still going to be tough.

That is what I thought but the ESPN game page shows Az with no turnovers so I began to question my sanity

They also say we're 7-1 in conference so just another example of ESPN's laziness:

The victory keeps Colorado (8-2, 7-1 Pac-12, No. 12 CFP) atop the Pac-12 South with games against No. 23 Washington State and No. 13 Utah coming up to close out the regular season.

From cubuffs.com:

— Colorado extended its nation-leading streak of games with at least one defensive takeaway to 23 on Gamboa's fumble recovery in the second quarter. CU has forced at least one turnover in every game since Jim Leavitt became defensive coordinator heading into the 2015 season.
