He had Embree level loses and team performances. And we thought we’ve been a joke. Yikes.
Hate those kinds of loses. He had Embree level loses and team performances.

I'm not proud of our 4 (the number, not throwing FHCMM rebuild and Tuck under the bus).Yup, he deserved it for sure. 5 coaches this decade though? Even we haven’t been that bad.
Or if there are some of the usual SEC program-diddling alums/big$$$ supporters, ready to push Gus under the bus!I wonder if Malzahn is ready to jump.
Neither is Rich Rod!Hmm, wonder who they'll go after? FHCMM isn't far away.
Getting drubbed by Western Kentucky at HOME was the final straw.Nope, he gone.

Yep, he was done at seasons end anyway. Getting beat like that by Western Kentucky at home, just gave them the **** it why wait moment.Getting drubbed by Western Kentucky at HOME was the final straw.
What does this say about CSU being one of the two teams to lose to them, the other is FCS Portland State?Yep, he was done at seasons end anyway. Getting beat like that by Western Kentucky at home, just gave them the **** it why wait moment.
What we already knew, they suck. What does this say about CSU being one of the two teams to lose to them, the other is FCS Portland State?
Hold my beer, let me see if I can beat Bama first.I wonder if Malzahn is ready to jump.

You got a replacement in mind for Auburn.
I’d like to see him in SEC.Gundy
Agree. Norvell, Leach and Malzahn. Leach seems to specialize in conference outposts.I have no idea if he'd be interested but Leach would seem like a good fit in Arkansas. Put him in the most remote outpost in a conference and he thrives.

He'll have to work on his accent...I think Arky makes a run at Leach.
EDIT: What Carolina said.

No he won't, like he gives a ****. That dude bangs his own drum. He'll have to work on his accent...
Why would he leave for Arkansas? Not to start this debate again, but I DEFINITELY do not see that as a step up.I wonder if Malzahn is ready to jump.
Get away from Aub pressure cooker and those fans that, at best, are lukewarm about him.Why would he leave for Arkansas? Not to start this debate again, but I DEFINITELY do not see that as a step up.
Edit- Just saw its his alma mater. Even so, I don’t see how anyone makes that move.
A little news. Nobody out there is going to elevate Arkansas above 7-9 wins a year right now. Give them a few years of winning enough to go to bowls and get some respect and some other coach may be able to take them the next step but right now the miracle build is a longshot at best.I dunno. I suppose I can see ML at Arky and I agree with all of your points.
However, if I were an Arkansas fan, I’d be very hesitant at that hire. The guy wins and has great press conferences but, he has never won his division let alone a conference championship as far as I can remember.
I suppose if the objective is to right the ship, no pun intended, he may be the guy to build the program back to respectability. If all you want is 7 to 9 wins a year, he is your guy.
