FIFYThis is like watching a CU game back when we sucked.
Witnessing Georgia becoming the new Alabama is interesting. This whole season has been a 5 month long coronation for Georgia.
I prefer it when it's Georgia.Witnessing Georgia becoming the new Alabama is interesting.

So how long before everyone starts hating Georgia like they hate Alabama?
Cal was sort-of a failure (despite having a #1 overall pick). It’s just a bad job.The thing that turned Dykes from being a failure at Cal to winning quickly at SMU and even more quickly at TCU is that he was one of the most aggressive and smartest coach in terms of taking advantage of the transfer portal. He overhauled the SMU and TCU rosters exceptionally well.
If Coach Prime can blend that with UGA level prep recruiting going forward, we'll be elite within 2-3 years.
I'll probably get sick of them, but I don't know if Kirby Smart is hateable like Saban is.
About 2 more years probably. So how long before everyone starts hating Georgia like they hate Alabama?
I remember going to the De Young museum in the days prior to the National Championship that was being held in Santa Clara. Bama fans were yelling "Roll Tide" to each other across the gallery rooms.Saban is not hateable, but their fanbase sure is.
Yeah, I like Saban and Kirby. High level excellent football is always cool to see.Saban is not hateable, but their fanbase sure is.
Catching up on the thread after unexpectedly having a late meeting. They have had fans doing that since around the time I lived in ATL, around 20 years ago. It is more of a WWE reference.Oof at the UGA students dressed up a la Raiders fans.
If we ever have students show up like that, they need to have the error of their ways corrected.
I think Georgia would prefer Michigan.
ReceiptsMichigan is the only team in the country that can hang in the trenches, IMO.
Big 12 is what I thought it was. A collection of mediocre to good teams, with none as talented as the Lincoln Riley teams which couldn't hold up against the true elites. Exactly what would have happened if any of the 10-win teams from the Pac-12 had made it. Now that I think about it, UGA proved this point in the opener.i feel a small bit of sadness for tcu. i didn't think that was possible.
they had a good year and played with a ton of heart over the season... uga is on another level.
ooh, the last of us trailer looked moderately interesting...
