I’m fine with Colorado rightfully taking back “CU” on a national scale.I'm fine with Clemson going away for awhile.
Dabo's a fraud.
Amazing how that program has done very little since Trevor Lawrence went pro.
He did that with one of the best young QBs in the sport in Lawrence. It's perfectly fine to have issues with Dabo, but you aren't seriously calling one of two coaches to have beaten Saban in a playoff championship game a fraud, are you?
Luck that he's in the ACC?... He's also a guy who is lucky he plays in the awful ACC.
From 2011 to 2017 (the year before Trevor Lawrence arrived) he was consistently producing 10 and above win seasons. I would say that is a pretty good coach.
Including a victory over Alabama in the national championship game.
Yeah, he’s dug his heels in on the transfer portal/NIL. Super weird, but he will adapt.Dabo is not a fraud. The run for Clemson has hardly been all luck and hardly all due to Lawrence either. He has long been a great recruiter.
The problem for Dabo is his inability to adapt to the changes in college football (transfer portal/NIL), as well as not making outside hires when his coordinators have been hired away. He had a chance for a hard reset last offseason after both his coordinators were hired away, but instead chose to promote from within.
The ability to change and evolve with the game is rare, especially when you're talking about elite coaches.Dabo is not a fraud. The run for Clemson has hardly been all luck and hardly all due to Lawrence either. He has long been a great recruiter.

He's a guy who got lucky to get a once in a lifetime QB. He's also a guy who is lucky he plays in the awful ACC.
I forgot he even played there. Point still kind of stands though. He's not getting the studs at that spot he got a couple years ago-DJ wasn't that. We'll see what Klubnik looks like.Deshaun Watson be like: "Am I nothing to you?"

People tend to forget Dabo won 11 games (twice) with Tahj Boyd and 12 games with Kelly Bryant.

For the most part, that program was built on defense and the QB play came later. When I knew they were on the cusp was after watching them play and seeing the talent & depth Dabo had stocked, particularly on the DL which is the hardest position to be dominant.People tend to forget Dabo won 11 games (twice) with Tahj Boyd and 12 games with Kelly Bryant.
Benefited from or recruited and developed two generational QBs?Yeah, he’s dug his heels in on the transfer portal/NIL. Super weird, but he will adapt.
Dabo is a great head coach and any program would take him. He has also benefited from two generational QB’s.

I know what you’re saying and I know you weren’t really making the argument that Dabo is a fraud, but in a conversation about whether a coach is a “fraud”, it seems really silly to discount him because of the players he recruited and developedBoth
Freak.
I'm okay with them beating Alabama.I'm ready for the Bama dynasty to end and for them to go into decline.
I'm not a fan of the idea of KSU winning and grabbing headlines.
There's something toxic about the UT cultureThis video of Sark isn’t good, but I oddly find myself more sympathetic to his reaction than most apparently. Dude is just standing there quietly and the other guy has got his hands all on his nipples.
