If it were most other states you are correct. In Nebraska they have ignored much worse than this.
Everyone remembers Lawrence Phillips dragging his girlfriend down the stairs by the hair but don't forget the long history of tolerating and covering for evil and often criminal activity in Lincoln.
Christian Peters raped a girl as a freshman and they managed to delay any action until after he had used his eligibility and then suppressed enough evidence to get him off with a slap on the wrist.
Much further back star player Johnny Rodgers committed a felony robbing a gas station at gunpoint and was still allowed to play, setting the stage for future gun incidents to be slipped under the rug.
Don't forget that at the time of the Phillips incident his backup Damon Benning was also busy beating up his girlfriend (3rd degree assault.) Around the same time they had Riley Washington shooting someone at a gas station and Tyrone Williams charged with two felonies while discharging a gun into a car.
The program has long had a culture of not just ignoring but covering for a variety of criminal activity. Frost fits right into that, he was part the culture as a player and now he is charge and being paid very well to win at any cost.
I also remember something about Suh hitting some cars parked on a street in Omaha, but "only blew a .0035". Riiigghhht.
