I just looked it up. Houston Christian? What is this, November in the SEC?
I saw this on their schedule and laughed. Then a few months ago drove to Houston and passed it on the freeway…nice looking Texas high school.
I almost posted “What the heck is HCU???” Thanks for looking that up. It’s formally Houston Baptist and less than 3 miles from me.

Nebraska will pay Houston Christian a $500,000 guarantee for the contest, according to a copy of the contract obtained from the University of Nebraska via a state public records request.
NCAA won't let Nebraska schedule a Houston High School, one of the few rules they actually enforce.

In all fairness, St. Copious of Northwestern Nebraska had a conflict, so that game could not be scheduled.
That kick was a thing of beauty! I can watch that on repeat. I love how it looked like it could miss all the way to the end. There must have been a few moments where the most delusional Nubs thought it might be a miss. And since the camera didn't show it pass through the posts, some may still be wondering. The long FG after a QB fumble is a true Nub classic!
Losing on a FG is appropriate.
Nebraska fans are like Charlie Brown with Lucy holding the football. They continuously bring themselves to believe that "this time" they are going to kick the ball only to at the last minute have it pulled out and they fall flat on their backs, knowing it happened again.
Also like Charlie Brown they don't understand that it is so in their heads that if Lucy were to ever keep the ball there they would be so surprised that they would shank the kick anyways.
Had Iowa missed the kick it would have only delayed the inevitable, fuskers would have still figured out how to lose it.
If they could schedule D2 Nebraska Kearney, they'd do it.
Thousands of inexperienced, single, Christian, young adult women away from home for the first time with nearly a 2/1 ratio of w/m. That's what is called a target rich environment if, unlike myself, you were a bit of a lech at that age.
