Official ****braska Hate Thread

The fusckers around me are convinced Frost is the truth. Still. I said he’s your Embree. Their response was he’s our Jesus (admittedly not a direct quote but sentimentally correct).

It’s going to be a lot of fun watching this all suck in on itself like the Poltergeist house

The replies are largely reasonable. They admitted they deserve it and that they were beaten fairly. Several also said the buffs fans were good hosts. Maybe all these years of loosing have changed them for the better.

When confronting Nubs fans about the support of Washington the rehearsed response seemed to be "it was revenge porn, not child porn". Sick. "Like who hasn't been accidentally charged with child pornograpjy because of a little revenge porn misunderstanding?"
Yeah the willful blindness to the situation is ridiculous. I told a few Fusker fans, that if they are going to be a “by any means necessary” football program, that’s fine but dispense with the “we do things the right way” trope.

If I were them, I'd justify his existence on the team by referring to his Nubs Roster Bio... at least he is going to his strengths.

sadly, i think we've seen the last of frosty in folsom. he ain't gonna make to 2023 although i really hope he does. i love him almost as much as i loved ratso slowpitch, who was the finest fusker coach in my lifetime.

great ****ing win.

Nooooooooooo!😱

Scott Fr0-2t is the one and only one Husker who is welcome back to into Folsom again and again.

I love that Iowa fans were jumping for joy when we won. **** conference pride when it comes to ****braska: something every team that deals with their trash twitter fans regularly can agree on.

I stopped on my way home from watching the game at my Fusker buddy’s place to grab some food for my wife. When I walked into the restaurant, I crossed paths with a high school kid wearing an Iowa shirt. When he saw my Buffs gear, he nodded and smiled approvingly. Iowa fans hate the Nubs just like the rest of us.

I'm not ready to give up the hate just yet.

We talk a lot about the nebraska fanbase's hypocrisy. I think it's pretty well documented here.

Somewhat related to the topic is the thing that is driving my hate at the moment.

If a fanbase is acting provocatively, they shouldn't be surprised if another fanbase is provoked. But somehow they either are surprised, or pretend to be the victims of our ire.

Even when:

1. They show up bragging about "Folsom Takeover" continually flaunting the size of their crowd on social media and in person. That's provocative.

2. They chant "Go Big Red" through Alma Mater. Here's a hint for nebraska fans -- if a fanbase stands and removes their hats, maybe whatever is happening is important to them. A good guest would respect that, rather than drown it out. That's provocative.

3. My girlfriend and I arrived early. Shortly thereafter a 20-something husker arrived with his friends. He announced, "sorry in advance but I'm going to be a dick" and stood on the seats directly in front of us (nobody was around, so it was just him, on this seat with ass in our faces). The last time I was that triggered by a fan, I punched a CSU supporter. I stood next to him and explained that he had a choice, and he actually didn't have to behave like a dick. He pretended to ignore me. I was persistent and he eventually sat down. He was fine the rest of the game, but why show up like that? That's provocative.

Husker fans. If some students flipped you the bird, or some CU fans told you to go **** yourself, please don't be surprised. Most of your fanbase went out of the way to cultivate that very outcome.

I ****ing hate your fanbase, because you pretend to be victims of your own provocation. Go **** yourselves (flips bird).

Since CU and Iowa have rarely played, hatred of NU and to a lesser extent Iowa State forms a natural alliance.

I saw several Nubs wandering around Pearl St this morning, in gear, probably because that’s all they have, and one was wearing a shirt mocking Iowa’s corn. That’s just weird.

I agree there were a lot of missed holding calls yesterday. I appreciate their advocacy for a fair game.

I'm sure they also ran out of characters to request an appeal for the most blatant PI no-call I've seen since Oregon State visited in 2014.
I assume the missed holding call they were referring to was whoever was holding Davion Taylor on Washington's 75 yd tD

Iowa fans are our brothers from another conference. I would love to schedule some games with them in the future. They hate Nebraska, we hate Nebraska. That means they’re good people in my book.

I confess that after attending the game yesterday, I watched the recording of the second half twice when I got home.

I hit the ten second rewind about 4 times on that play just to enjoy my rage over that specific holding call. Guess what, if the defender is running slowly as a result of the blocker who happens to be behind him, it's not the time to be shy with that flag.

I found out today that maurice the felon washington has a twitter page. He mostly posts and retweets highlights of himself but if you really wanna be enraged read the replies to him. Full of nebraska fans cheering and supporting him and thanking him for being on the team. These people are either incredibly ignorant(doubtful) or completely ****ed in the head. How could anyone read about what he did and not be sick to their stomach? You have to be a legitimate psycho to think that this guy deserves anything less than significant jail time. **** nebraska!

In kinda related news, did anyone see that Callier was apparently suspended for this game by CU? Not sure what he did but I'm glad CU actually disciplines their players when they do something wrong

Nobody on this board hates ISU lol. I never went on a roadie there, but been around them a bit when they'd come here every other year before we left the conference-and they're really nice honestly. Good for them on the success they've had with Matt Campbell, and I'm glad they got GameDay next week.

No reason we don't continue this thread-They're now whining about how the officials they brought with them screwed them. Making fun of them is too much fun.

**** Nebraska.
