I could be remembering this wrong, but wasn't the speculation not just that he put GT at 1, but that he put CU at 4, not 2. Maybe that's just fan site rumors, but that's what's in my mind.
 
TIL that Tom Osborne is still alive.

In my defense, he has looked dead for a couple decades. So, apologies, I guess.

I heard Mark Johnson explain on the radio that Osborn would have had to vote CU 4th or 5th to drop the Buffs below GT. So while Osborn has not publicly admitted as much, math reveals his vote to be a cowardly and vindictive act of malice.
