Official ****braska Hate Thread

Big Ten is much better at the top, but after the top few teams, the Big Ten has NOTHING on the Big 12.

By bottom of the Big Ten, I mean the traditional bottom dwellers. Gemini tells me:
This didn't age so well well. Big12 looks like a dumpster fire right now.

What am I missing? If memory serves me correctly, the Big Ten and Big XII are each 2-2 in interconference play with each other this season, which includes the huskers sneaking it out against Cincinnati (dude...****ing Cincinnati) at home.

And don't get me wrong, I'm the first to tell anybody the Big XII is ass - I hate this ****ing conference that we're in. But it has a pretty solid middle.

ASU going down to SEC cellar dweller Miss St was bad. KSU losing to Army was real bad. Both were supposed to be contenders. If neither are contenders, then it's fine they lost. But otherwise it's gonna be a problem.

I was bummed about ASU's loss, and agree that it didn't represent the conference well (as if I give any ****s whatsoever how this conference represents) but can we all agree that KSU's loss to those mouth-breathing morons on the Hudson was delicious?

ASU is the current Oregon (not performance wise) of the Big 12. They have the worst fans and it was fantastic when they lost.

@Dave:
Nebraska has had 1 winning conference record since 2012. ONE. (2016 under Mike Riley, subsequently fired a year later)

They won 3 games every single season since, except for 2021, when they watched Frost the Spineless win 1 game.

Shouldn't you go back to your own board and come back when you've done something? You're early to come here to critique.

Don't bother. You are trying to talk sense to a member of a fan base who thinks that barely beating a mediocre Cincinatti team in what was essentially a home game, then "challenging" themselves with Akron an Houston Baptist, then thinking they are something special because they are 3-0.

I agree, we have been terrible.

I loved the rivalry we had in the past - doing my part to make sure it continues. Would love to see us play in a bowl game this year. Decent chance that happens if you guys can win enough games.

Well, it would be easy to become bowl eligible if we paid an opponent to move a game from their home what is basically a home game for us then played that murderers row of Akron and Houston Christian (you guys are known for scheduling cupcakes but Houston Christian?) That puts you halfway there. Tack on games with Northwestern and UCLA and basically you have to win one semi-decent game to be bowl eligible.

Fusker fans will act like its the "return to glory" but frankly with that schedule if you don't win at least 9 you should be embarassed.
