Vegas mudholing the Ducks right now. Is this game considered a neutral site game for RPI purposes? Being played at MGM, not at Thomas and Mack. If so, that's really dumb.

Oh, man. Dorsey just went down and it looks bad. Announcer said, "his knee bent in a way it's not supposed to".

Just helped off the court putting no weight on his left leg. Hopefully it looked worse than it is.

That was brutal to watch. Still gritting my teeth over it.

He's back on the court. Dude is flexible like Gumby to be ok after that. Good for him.

Saw this coming from far away. Just one of those deals where things don't set up well: Overrated at 15 (believe hype + target on you), first time leaving Eugene despite being nearly a month into the season, solid opponent in UNLV that's faced better competition thus far and will always be up to face a Pac squad (like every MWC team).

Saturday games we care about:

E Michigan at Penn State (10:00)
New Hampshire at #22 SMU (11:30)
IPFW at Utah (12:00, PACN)
Cal at Wyoming (1:00, CBSSN)
Weber State at BYU (1:00)
Kent State at Cleveland State (1:00)
#19 Arizona at #13 Gonzaga (1:15, ESPN)
Air Force at Denver (2:00)
Nevada at Oregon State (2:00, PACN)
Hampton at Coppin State (2:00)
Loyola (LA) at Nicholls (2:30)... DII opponent, non-RPI game
Boise State at Portland (8:00)
#18 Texas A&M at Arizona State (8:30, ESPN2)

Big opportunities for ASU and Portland.

Rare AFA road win would be nice, but not counting on it.

Danger alert for Cal. Wyoming is nothing special this year, but it's Laramie.

Penn State getting a nice little win over an E Michigan squad that came in at 5-2.

#22 SMU was impressive today going to 6-0 by destroying a decent New Hampshire team that came in at 5-2.

Cal pissing away a lead in Laramie and going to OT should serve as a reminder of what we're in for tomorrow. Wyo isn't even good this year and Cal is obviously not a rival...yet when you're a Pac school visiting a MWC gym you'd better be ready to scrap for 40 minutes.

Cal survives OT and foul trouble to get the win at Wyoming.

Good start to the day for the SOS.

Clean sweep for building the SOS in the early games today. Fantastic result.

****ing Portland. Lets Boise break open a tie game with a 9-0 run down the stretch.

ASU beats 18th ranked Texas A&M, 67-54. ASU now 6-2

Sunday:

Our Buffs (6-1) visit Colorado State (5-2): Buffs favored by 1. Rams have dropped 2 straight, both against deceptively good opposition. Aside from the obvious need to win for rivalry purposes, this is a big chance to go get a solid OOC road win. This is a game an NCAA Tournament team wins.

Omaha (3-4) @ Montana State (4-3): Winnable road game for Omaha. They're favored by 3.

Washington State (4-1) vs Portland State (3-3): Cougs favored by 10.5. They've yet to have a stupid loss. You wonder when it will come.

UCLA (5-3) vs Long Beach State (5-4): Who knows what to make of UCLA right now. A team that is fresh off of kicking Kentucky's ass yet has been killed by Wake Forest and lost to Monmouth. They'd better be careful here -- LBSU is probably not who you want to face while hungover from a huge win. LBSU is a quality squad that's already notched wins over CSU, BYU and Seton Hall and regularly faces top opponents.

Washington (4-2) vs Cal State Fullerton (6-1): UW has been off seemingly forever - a deserved break seeing as they've already been to China and the Bahamas. They were not playing well their last couple games. It was looking like the UW that everyone expected to suck was appearing. Maybe it was fatigue, maybe it was a sign of what's coming now that teams are gelling. Fullerton has a nice 6-1 record but hasn't played anyone of note.

Obviously, nothing has close to the RPI impact of CU taking care of the Rams today.

But other positive developments.

Omaha held on to get a road win at Montana State.

Washington State had a 17 pt halftime lead on Portland State that it has maintained in the early 2nd.
