They didn’t deserve to win the game so when you have the chance to pull it out by getting 2 ****ing yards, you do it. Tucker turtled at the end by not going for it
If they tried that and failed we would destroy him. Just because we lost doesn’t mean we needed to go for two at home in that scenario. They didn’t deserve to win the game so when you have the chance to pull it out by getting 2 ****ing yards, you do it. Tucker turtled at the end by not going for it
Proud of the team for fighting back.
We HAVE to play for a bowl this season. Until that's off the table, there's no playing for the future.Bench Montez. Agree with the above, play for the future
You give to much credit to Montez to understand actual ball placement. Hopefully Mel opens up the QB position.Looked like Montez threw to the sticks, but Shenault ran to the end zone. Appeared it was supposed to be a back shoulder fade stop.
**** youThat was a hard fought game. Congrats to those Falcons.
Yeah, take a look at the play again. You're wrong, I'm right here.JFC dude. Montez was horrible today. It was a terrible throw and he ****ed up the 3rd down as well.
You do know Montez has had 2 years to get them to a bowl game and failed each time.We HAVE to play for a bowl this season. Until that's off the table, there's no playing for the future.
I said they should have gone for two well before they lost. It’s just my opinion, of course, but how could they have been confident in their defense to get a stop in OT?If they tried that and failed we would destroy him. Just because we lost doesn’t mean we needed to go for two at home in that scenario.

They should have gone for two on the last TD. All the momentum was on CU's side, and Viska generally gets at least 3 yards on every. You go for the win at home. No playing for OT bull****.I said they should have gone for two well before they lost. It’s just my opinion, of course, but how could they have been confident in their defense to get a stop in OT?
Maybe Lytle or Stenstrom don't get it done, but Montez has looked lost as 5th year senior. He still doesn't know his reads, he still doesn't understand D formations. He has no touch and his accuracy is questionable at best. I think Mel wanted the sure thing to start the season but he has to see that they should be getting more out of the O with the players they have.We HAVE to play for a bowl this season. What a joy! Get embarrassed by an instate team and have to wait a full year to get revengeSo, does CU get to play AFA again next year?
Can't change all of Mac's guys in one year...they don't have quit in them, but they also don't have crush the opponent in them either
Well, it is a team sport. The defense, offense and ST all had their disappointing, unacceptable portions of the game.Montez frustrating but game was lost in the first half when our defense didn't have the discipline to stop AF from dominating possession and scoring.
Wanted to win this game and we should have won this game but AF did what they do. They played both an offense and a defense that is very hard to prepare for.
Hard for CU to stay focused enough to compete with the AF system after two huge emotional weeks.
I still don't agree with that. He BARELY got the touchdown on the play. Doesn't bode well for putting the whole game on the line to try that exact same play again when everyone knows its coming. You're right that momentum was on CU's side. That combined with CU having a talent advantage AND air force's defense having been on the field for like the last 8 minutes straight means they should have tried to extend the game, not put everything on the line on one playThey should have gone for two on the last TD. All the momentum was on CU's side, and Viska generally gets at least 3 yards on every. You go for the win at home. No playing for OT bull****.
