CU scores on it's first possession after an AF fumble on the opening kickoff giving CU the ball on the 2 yard line. Lewis throws a pass into the ground but hits an AF player in the foot, bouncing into the air and caught by CU. CU misses the extra point though. Lewis plays the whole game, throws for 67 years and runs for 46, and is CU's leading rusher. Even after the humiliating loss, KD announces he sees enough improvement in Lewis to make him the starter for the rest of the season.

Lewis starts for awhile, not effective. KD grits his teeth and let’s Shrout go in who at least moves the ball a bit. He’s not overly good, he’s just decent when Lewis is not. CU loses in a boring fashion, scoring a td late to make the score better. KD clotheslines a camera guy as he heads to the locker room
