Watched the presser as well hoping to hear something, anything different. We are doomed. Dude is completely lost at the wheel. It was a bit amusing seeing him get a little pissed when asked if punting in the third quarter in enemy territory might have given the team the impression he doesn’t trust the offense though. Clearly got under his skin.Based on todays presser, KD is still living in his own delusion and isn’t yet convinced that running out Lewis is foolish.
AF 45
CU 17 (14 Shrout garbage time points get them past 45-3)
Loses the majority of the half of the team he didn’t lose at halftime of the TCU game midway through the second quarter.
That was the equivalent of Brian Howell dropping a nuclear bomb. I think it caught him off guard that not even Brian is in his corner anymoreWatched the presser as well hoping to hear something, anything different. We are doomed. The question about the strategy for the pint was asked post game. He couldn’t recall the play/situation. Now he is asked about impact. That was the equivalent of Brian Howell dropping a nuclear bomb. I think it caught him off guard that not even Brian is in his corner anymore

For Howell to do his job being on good terms with KD makes it a lot easier.Yeah, for Howell to have jumped off the boat, that is saying something.
Worth wondering if Howell has some information that indicates that working with Dorrell isn't going to be a long term situation for him.
It is sad when even a degree of competence is not only an improvement but as a point of hope.Interim HC Mike Sanford Jr

Our administration has it's head deeply buried in the sand but after getting blown out by TCU if (likely) we see a similar result at AFA it may be that the pressure becomes impossible to resist and we start moving towards the end.
Yeah no. Troy Calhoun coached circles around Mel Tucker three years ago. That team was lucky to go to OT with Air Force. Yet some of you think this team and this staff has a chance?Buffs 31 - AFA 24
Even this is generous.Air Force 45
CU 24
The only thing that would keep this from happening is that Calhoun has a positive relationship with KD and may hesitate really roll one up on him.Even this is generous.
Air Force may hang 70 on this team.
Yeah we're so ****ing bad they could not throw a pass and still hang 60.The only thing that would keep this from happening is that Calhoun has a positive relationship with KD and may hesitate really roll one up on him.
Working against that though is that even when Air Force is far ahead and has the starters taking off their pads on the sidelines they continue to run that offense with the 3rd and 4th stringers and our lack of discipline and effort might let the scrubs score 50.
Hard to accuse a team of running the score up on you when they hand the ball of and the guy splits the defense for 60 yards.
He is such A ****ing idiot! He doesn't want to play shrout because he doesn't want to be wrong. He'd rather alienate everyone else. **** him!Based on todays presser, KD is still living in his own delusion and isn’t yet convinced that running out Lewis is foolish.
Who is applying this “pressure”. Can’t imagine it’s any of us. And if it’s not us, I don’t see anyone else giving a **** about CU football. For Howell to do his job being on good terms with KD makes it a lot easier.
