Official Buffs vs. Arizona Score Prediction Thread

AZ 24, CU 21
  • AZ has had 2 weeks to prepare
  • They barely lost to #20 Utah by 6, after fumbling at the Utah 20 late in the 4th
  • They barely lost to a pretty solid Houston team by 3, throwing an INT in Houston territory late in the 4th
  • CU is 11th in the Pac 12 in PPG ... I've seen nothing that makes me think we're suddenly going to start scoring

As far as seattlehusker's argument:

I don't think Utah is as good as that #20 says they are. Their wins are over FCS North Dakota, incompetent BYU, and one of the worst teams in the MWC in San Jose State.
This isn't Tom Herman Houston either-they struggled to move the ball on Texas Tech.....who has all kinds of defensive issues (2 touchdowns after the game was in hand to make the game closer than it looked).

31-17 Buffs.

Interesting ... because I don't wear rose-colored glasses, I'm a Husker fan ... that makes sense.

It's okay to be a homer in this thread. It's what it's for. What sort of dick gloats after he predicts his team will lose, when he's proven true. You take a funny approach to being a fan. This isn't a rational thing we do.

I don't gloat because they lost ... I gloat because I made a case for why we'd lose in this thread, and I was called a troll and Husker fan for it.

be it here or the basketball threads... you only show up when CU loses... TROLL [/THREAD]

That’s not completely true. There were a few posts complimenting the Buffs last Fall during the great conference run. There was even one suggesting the program was turned around and to expect better things moving forward. Somehow that optimism was lost before this season began though.
