Official Buffs vs. ASU Game Thread --- 2 PM on P12N

H

He should have called fair catch on that ball? Why? Took a big hit by a player out of his vision that literally came off the bench.

I'm not saying he should have called for a fair catch. He got 11 yards after the catch. I'm just saying it's an option to consider if you really don't want to get hit hard, and just want a guy with good hands back there to catch the ball and not muff it or fumble.

Just back from the game. Awesome crowd. Hope it came through the TV that way.

A hard fought win. Except for the deep ball against Fisher, I thought the D in the second half was good to very good. The goal line stand was pivotal. And the half time adjustments are why this team is undefeated.

Just feels like this team is in control and can get a score or stop when it needs to. If we start forcing some turnovers I don't see us losing.

It was but would have been nice on the 2nd to last drive to put another 7 up. That 3rd down conversion by montez called back for holding killed that drive. But running it up their arse was the right call.

When you are up seven and flip the field in a big way, do not risk anything on third and long.

The coaches had a great feel for how the game was finishing IMO.

One thing that I haven’t seen mentioned much on here is how well the O-line played. Didn’t give up a single sack to a team that had like 18 sacks and 40 hurries coming into this game. Gave Montez time to throw and McMillian holes to run through. Damn proud of this offensive line against such an aggressive front seven and DAMN proud of this football team for showing grit throughout all 4 quarters for the 5th game in a row. Gotta love seeing such a tight-knit group pulling through game in and game out. Go Buffs!!! 5-0

I don't think Lewis was on the field. Watched it a bunch of times. Unless he put that white armband on his right arm while he was knocked OOB. Where is #20 at the snap?

Others have said it, I will repeat it because I have been critical of, and a huge skeptic of, the OL. They played a whale of a game and did what you want your OL to do...take over the game in the 4th when it is for all the marbles. Great job by the OL, I will eat my plate of crow cold.

He just seemed to get really conservative at the wrong times and his timeout management was hilarious.

Take a look a play sequence in 2H. Benjamin’s first two runs were for 21. Then he gets stuffed three times and Herm abandons run.

Last carry was on 1st and Goal from 3, after which Wilkins got sacked, completed pass and then threw a jump ball that Abrams batted.

I'm also still curious about this because there's 9 guys in the frame there, and I'm pretty sure there are two guys line up on the bottom split wide. I have no idea how Lewis could have ended up out of bounds at the spot he came from.
